Owlet Publishing

Owlet Publishing is a publisher of children's books. Through our stories, we promote logical and critical thinking skills in children. The target audience of these books is children with reading skills from preschool all the way up to fifth grade. Through our brand, we would also create a feeling of trust, not only with children but with parents as well. The term "Owlet" in our name is the name for a baby owl. The owl is known to represent wisdom, and our company would like to instill wisdom in our young readers. In our brand design, we would like a baby owl to be featured in some sense. Other than that, all other design elements are up to the designer.

Neil Stansfield Article

The main takeaway from the article about Neil Stansfield is that a truly great design can improve the quality of even the most mediocre of products. Stansfield repackaged generic food products as organic products and sold them for a higher price. Instead of spending money on the actual product, Neil spent money on great packaging for that product. This leads these food items to receive great acclaim, even though they are in actuality very cheap. This shows that a well-designed packaging can make consumers believe they are consuming a high-quality product. This scenario also speaks to the pschologial effects that package design can have on the general populace. Packaging design can affect how consumers use, feel, and buy certain products.
